Daşkan family started its commercial life growing cotton, rice and sultanas in 1980. In 1986, Daşkan Collective Co., a family business, was founded by three brothers, namely Durmuş Daşkan, Mustafa Daşkan and Adnan Daşkan, in order to merchandise cotton and sultanas business.

Seeking to benefit from its cotton production experience in its factory, Daşkan family founded a cotton gin factory on a 8000m2 area in 1987 in order to process and merchandise cotton to the domestic market. Furthermore, the family continued to merchandise sultanas with its gradually increasing knowledge and experience. Daşkan Collective Co. secured its position in the sector in time and increased its business volume, and was named Daşkan Agricultural Products Inc. as an incorporated company in 1995. Daşkan family decided to continue its commercial life it had started as a sultanas producer and merchandiser as a sultanas exporter, and built its sultanas factory on a 13000 m2 area and achieved its first exportation in 1997.

Using the knowledge and experience out of sultanas growing and merchandising in quality raw material selection and process in the sultanas factory, Daşkan family secured its position among sultanas exporters in a short time. That the sultanas factory was founded in Urganlı-Turgutlu, one of the most productive plains in Turkey, and Daşkan family has been operating in the region for long years as a farmer of sultanas and merchandiser provides an advantage that the quality raw material can be provided directly from farmers. The number of the farmers willing to sell goods to Daşkan Tarım has increased every year thanks to the collaboration based on mutual trust between Daşkan family and the farmers, which gained Daşkan  a great power in receiving raw materials economically.    

Daşkan family founded a factory which produce plastic products on a 5000 m2 area in Urganlı-Turgutlu in 2004 and increased its product capacity and portfolio every year in order to manufacture plastic goods with the aim of both meeting the plastic basket need of the sultanas factory and other sultanas exporters and the plastic material need of the fresh fruit, vegetable, chicken, yogurt etc… sectors. The plastic basket production which started with 1 injection machine in 2004 continues with 14 injection machines and 158 different models.

In 2008, Daşkan family decided to shut down its cotton gin factory due to the problems in the cotton sector, and built a cold storage in Urganlı-Turgutlu on a 5000m2 area in order to meet the cold store need in the fresh fruit sector in 2011.

Daşkan Agricultural Products Inc.  increased its sultanas production and exportation, which had started in 1997, every year and secured its position, and turned into a firm exporting anually about 20.000 ton seedless raisins to the whole world, especially the European countries since 2012, with its 3 million dollar capital and 40 million dollar business volume. Having started exportation with a single laser in its production line in 1997, Daşkan proves its quality and the importance it gives to quality thanks to its 4 laser scanners, 1 X-Ray detector, 26 aspirators, 4 packaging lines and 3 metal detectors of high technology, and ISO 9001 certificate it was awarded in 2000, ISO 220000 and BRC certificate it was awarded in 2006.     

In 2012, the company was named Daşkan Agricultural and Plastic Products Inc. and pursues increasing its experience, quality and business volume day by day.
